The Battery Web Gauge ES-5 is a system for monitoring and controlling the quality of thickness in the electrode manufacturing of rechargeable batteries such as lithium-ion batteries. This is the successor to the previous model WEBFREX3ES, which has been supporting battery manufacturing sites since 2010. It inherits and evolves the features of the previous model while completely renewing the measurement frame, sensor, and system platform. The ES-5 with completely renewed hardware and software, will solve new challenges such as reducing CO2 emissions from battery production and improving productivity.
